Community Service
I have been active in serving my community since I was in high school. Serving others and helping my community inspires me and I love to encourage others around me to serve their community as well. I have volunteered in many different settings, including health care settings, food banks, signing people up to donate bone marrow, and for organizations providing people with disabilities service dogs, free of charge. I love to make a difference in the world around me and there is no better way of doing that than by helping the people around you, especially by starting with your neighbors, the community surrounding you.
STEP
I help provide service dogs to people with disabilities free of charge by volunteering for STEP and Canine Companions. I watch future service animals, and plan events to educate the community on disability etiquette and service dog awareness.
Be the Match
I volunteered with Be the Match, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people facing life threatening blood cancers to get the life saving transplants they need. I encouraged students on the UCF campus to join the National Marrow Registry.
Advent Health
I have 93 hours of volunteer experience at the Advent Health Tampa hospital. I shadowed and assisted health professionals while interacting with the Tampa community around me.
