Reflection

From graduating from high school and receiving my acceptance letter to the University of Central Florida in 2020, I did not know what to expect going to a school of 70,000+ students. I was worried about finding my place, and contributing to the UCF Community. I knew I had my passion for nursing, but I knew in such a large community that there had to be more that I could do. Finding the LEAD Scholars Academy and the Service Dog Training and Education Program have truly helped me grow out of my shell, make friends, find a "home" at UCF, and be provided endless opportunities to help others and perform community service. Now that I am accepted into the UCF College of Nursing, I look forward to the new experiences I will gain and the new organizations, like the Student Nursing Association, that I can join to have a voice in nursing matters at UCF.
