Experience
My leadership experience at the University of Central Florida has allowed me to find a community I belong to and has shaped many of my college experiences.
Service Dog Training and Education Program (STEP)
From 2020-2021, I served as the Fundraising Assistant on the Fundraising and Events committee for the Service Dog Training and Education Program. For the 2021-2022 year, I became the Fundraising and Events Chair on the Executive Board for STEP. STEP is a registered student organization at the University of Central Florida that partners with the national non-profit Canine Companions to raise and train service dogs to provide to people with disabilities free of charge.
LEAD Scholars Academy
For the 2020-21 year, I was a general LEAD Scholar for the LEAD Scholars Academy. For the Fall of 2021, I became a peer mentor for first year LEAD Scholars. The LEAD Scholars Academy is a selective two-year academic leadership development program for students at the University of Central Florida.
